Youth Employment
The mission of our department is to get young adults aged 14-21 years old on a track that leads them to employment, careers and higher education. With training and support, we can assist young people to be independent and self-sufficient.
Summer Youth Employment Program
The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)
Provides New York City youth between the ages of 14 and 24 with summer employment and educational experiences that capitalize on their individual strengths, develop their skills and competencies, and connect them to positive adult role models.
Work Learn Grow
The Work Learn Grow (WLG) Employment Program is sponsored by the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development.
