Lifestyle Medicine & Wellness

Gentle Ypga 1

The MMCC Lifestyle Medicine & Wellness Program is committed to improving the health and well-being of our community through strong partnerships with the Montefiore Health System/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, local schools, students, volunteers, and community organizations.

Our program emphasizes family engagement and teaches practical ways to incorporate the 7 Healthy Habits for a Stronger, Happier You into daily life: minimizing unhealthy eating habits, practicing balanced diet habits, exercising regularly, sleeping well, maintaining mental health, staying clean, and drinking plenty of water.

Through school-based lessons, interactive workshops, and community events, families are empowered to build lifelong habits that support physical health, emotional well-being, and overall wellness. By involving all members of the household, we help create healthier, happier families and stronger, more resilient communities.
