The Moses Project

A Creative & Fun Educational Program for Multi-cultural Jewish Families

Art • Dance • Hebrew • Stories Jewish • Holiday • Cooking • Family Trips

Free cultural classes where children with a partially Jewish background learn about Jewish history, stories, traditions, music and holiday celebrations through fun activities in a non-religious  classroom setting. This program is ideal for children who come from multi-ethnic families or who have two Jewish parents and want a deeper understanding of their Jewish roots. It's a unique family experience where you can also meet similar families.

There are also several field trips to museums, exhibitions, performances and activities at New York cultural institutions offered for the entire family. This helps all family members grow in their understanding of their Jewish ancestry.

Free transportation available. Families agree to attend a minimum of six out of eight trips.

The program will be held on alternate Sundays from 9am-11am ,

Location: Bronx House: 990 Pelham Pkwy S. Bronx, NY 10461
Instructor: Sarah Farber | sfarber@mmcc.org

The Moses Project is a joint program of MMCC and Bronx House.
