Young Adult Internship

YAIP is a brand new city-funded short term employment program targeting low income job-ready youth.

Requirements

-  Between the ages of 16-24

-  Not currently employed

- Not currently in school
  - Must live in Community District 7

CD 7 includes: Norwood, University Heights, Jerome Park, Bedford Park, Fordham, and Kingsbridge Heights

YAIP interns complete two weeks of orientation prior to starting the internship. They can earn up to $2500 in 14 weeks. They may earn permanent employment with a good evaluation.
