Rochambeau Annex

We offer daycare beginning at 24 months through Pre- Kindergarten, 12 months a year.

We also offer a part time, 10 month Universal Pre-Kindergarten program for children who will turn 4 years old by December 31st of the school year.

Day Care:

The day care center at the Rochambeau Annex is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, plus extended hour options from 7:30am-8:00am and 6:00pm-6:30pm to accommodate the needs of our working parents.

The children are taught based on the Creative Curriculum which focuses on four critical areas of development: Cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and language development. Children are taught through play and literature and are encouraged to develop their imagination and social skills. Classrooms are divided into interest areas where children are provided with choices and age-appropriate materials to explore and learn.

Universal Pre-Kindergarten:

The Rochambeau Annex offers Pre-Kindergarten to every child who turns four before December 31st of that school year. This program is a 2.5 hour free program that is funded by New York State. The Rochambeau Annex offers both part time pre-K, (2.5 hours) as well as a full-day Pre-Kindergarten option in which the remainder of the day is funded the same as daycare (privately, ACD, HRA, etc.)
